Independence Home Care Hosts a Lunch and Learn at Arcadia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
On August 7, 2014, Independence Home Care (IHC) hosted a Lunch and Learn at Arcadia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hamilton, NJ. Ten members from the nursing and administrative staff attended the lunch which was coordinated by Jaye Eufemia, Arcadia’s assistant director of nursing. Terri Sajkowski, RN, owner and founder of Independence Home Care Inc., has been focused on establishing relationships with nursing and rehabilitation facilities in the counties they service. “We feel these Lunch and Learns provide us with a great opportunity to meet the nurses and social workers in local hospitals and rehabilitation facilities. It enables us to educate the staff on the services we provide our clients in a fun and informal environment. These sessions have enabled us to not only build new relationships, but also strengthen existing ones with facilities local to our area”, said Terri.
