On September 25, 2014 Independence Home Care hosted its annual Caregiver Appreciation Day.  Terri and Vincent Sajkowski, owners of Independence Home Care, are committed to not only attracting the best Caregivers in the area, but also to maintaining those relationships.  They understand that the quality of Caregivers they employ is vital to the success of their business.  They want their Caregivers to understand how valuable they are to them and to the company and feel that by dedicating a day to honor them, is a great way to accomplish that.

This year’s event was held at the Hampton Inn in Robbinsville, NJ.  Breakfast, lunch and dinner were provided so as to accommodate both live-in and hourly Caregivers’ schedules.  It was a great day as many Caregivers brought their clients with them to enjoy a meal together and to interact with other clients and Caregivers.  Specific individuals were acknowledged by their clients for providing excellent care and an honoree board was on display which boasted with specific accolades.  Gift bags were provided to all Caregivers, and some even won special baskets filled with wonderful prizes.

It was a terrific day and we that hope all those who came enjoyed themselves.  The entire IHC team was thrilled to have had this opportunity to honor all our wonderful Caregivers and to share a meal and a few laughs with those who work so hard for us.  They deserve some time to kick back, enjoy a nice meal and mingle with other Caregivers.  We can’t wait to see them all again next year.
